About the Salomon Klagsbrun Scholarship
The Salomon Klagsbrun Scholarship is an annual award granted by the CrossCurrents Foundation to select nonprofit organizations working to strengthen civil liberties and to promote social justice.  It is named for Salomon Klagsbrun, who held a deep philanthropic commitment to justice throughout his life. The 2007 Klagsbrun Scholarship award is granted to AFJ because its work clearly embodies Klagsbrun's spirit. The money is used to mentor a young attorney for future social justice work.
