Jaime Wojdowski

Dorot Law Fellow - Judicial Selection Project

Jaime Wojdowski is a 2007-2008 Dorot Law Fellow for AFJ's Judicial Selection Project (JSP), focusing on researching judicial nominees to the federal appellate courts.  Jaime graduated magna cum laude from the Georgia State University College of Law, where she was the president of OUTLaw, a board member of GSU's chapter of the American Constitution Society, and a Research Assistant to two professors.  While in law school, Jaime worked for the ACLU of Georgia, the Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, and the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, and completed an externship with Senior Judge Marvin H. Shoob in the Northern District of Georgia.  She also served two years as a board member of the Stonewall Bar Association of Georgia, and her article titled Georgia's Partial Insanity: Why Georgia Should Follow the Rest of the United States and Abandon the Testamentary Capacity Monomania Doctrine was published in Georgia Probate Notes in May, 2007.  Jaime graduated valedictorian of her class at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia, with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in French, and was chosen by university faculty for the James Edward Oglethorpe Senior Leadership Cup, the most prestigious award a graduating senior can receive.  She is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
