Jasmeet Sidhu

Senior Counsel 

Jasmeet Sidhu serves as Senior Counsel at Alliance for Justice. Prior to joining AFJ, Jasmeet was an associate, most recently in the litigation department at Williams Mullen in Richmond, Virginia, and previously at Kirkpatrick and Lockhart, Nicholson Graham LLP in New York City. While working as an associate, Jasmeet performed various pro bono legal services in conjunction with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Richmond, Virginia, and also represented various pro bono clients seeking asylum as a volunteer attorney for Human Rights First in New York.

Jasmeet graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law in 2002. Prior to attending law school, Jasmeet was a staff assistant at Amnesty International's Washington, D.C. office, where she was actively involved in various international campaigns and legislative programs.
