Nancy Chen

Nancy Chen (B.S.F.S., Georgetown University; J.D., University of California, Berkeley School of Law) is Counsel for the Nonprofit Advocacy Project in Oakland, California, and assists in researching, writing, and presenting workshops on the advocacy rules for public charities. During law school, Nancy worked as a Law Clerk for the International Network for Environmental Compliance and Enforcement and the Lawyer’s Committee for Civil Rights. Prior to law school, Nancy was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras, where she created a community art center and taught classes on various topics, including HIV/AIDS and gender. Nancy is fluent in Spanish, and proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
