As Senior Advisor for Foundation Advocacy Initiative and Advocacy Evaluation and Planning, Sue works with foundations to increase citizen participation in the public policy process through support for nonprofit advocacy. A veteran nonprofit lobbyist, Sue directed the National Association of Social Workers government relations effort for 13 years, helping that organization develop a role that enabled it to influence federal policy on health/mental health, child welfare, special education and other issues.
