Critical Decision—Richard Honaker

U.S. District Court - Wyoming

President Bush nominated Richard H. Honaker to the U.S. District Court for the District of Wyoming on March 19, 2007. Throughout his career, Mr. Honaker has actively worked to undermine a woman's right to reproductive freedom. Mr. Honaker's extreme views call into question his willingness to uphold Supreme and Circuit court precedent and enforce federal statutory law. His failure to protect our fundamental rights, along with extreme statements he has made about the place of religion in American life, makes him the wrong choice for a lifetime appointment to the federal bench.
